The Garden is just booming with growth! The garlic greens are about a foot tall! Can we say you can grow garlic in containers on a balcony!
All of the zinnias, Marigolds Basil and Tomatoes have sprouted. Last year it took the basil awhile to actually sprout so I am very pleased they are growing.
The catmint and lemonbalm are doing fantastic in their new bigger pots. I am not sure if the sage with survive. Some herbs are hard to grow from seed. I also have trouble with Thyme.
For awhile I didn't know if the ginger was going to do anything. That lil nub is it starting to sprout too! It will be indoors for awhile until temps are in the 70s outdoors. It thrives in tropical weather.
You can see in the TP roll that a lil pea has sprouted too! I will be comparing the growth with the indoor seedling vs outdoor seedling of peas side by side. The outdoor seeds haven't sprouted yet.
Last but not least, the Dahlias are getting too big for being inside. I might start bringing them outside if we have some nice days in the 70s. Next week the weather is supposed to be only in the 50s-60s. As long as they get some sunlight they should be fine until I can put them in the bigger pots.
I am also excited that I got a solar drip irrigation that I will be using for the peppers to help me water. Having soo many containers makes it to wear I have to fill my watering can like 2 or 3 times.
